For everyone one out there: MERIDA IS NOT THE NEXT DISNEY PRINCESS. Brave is a Disney-PIXAR movie, therefore making it equivalent to Toy Story, Wall-E, Up, etc. While Merida is certainly a badass and completely awesome, and the movie will probably be great, she shouldn’t be grouped with snow white, cinderella, aurora, ariel, tiana, rapunzel, etc. I’m not saying she shouldn’t be included within the Disney universe, just that she is not one of “The Princesses.”
